Frequently Asked Questions

Our first pieces were done more than 40 years ago. However, there was a long hiatus of doing all of the other things in life and we finally came back to it in 2023 for enjoyment and profit.

No, this is a side gig to help supplement our retirement income.

Yes, we have helped clients source their pieces based on what they are looking for. We can identify options for your consideration. Once selected, they can be purchased by you or we can purchase them and include the cost with the cost to refurbish. Colors, finishes, and hardware, can all be customized to match your preferences.

Each piece is unique and deserves individual pricing. Once a specific piece is identified and the scope of refurbishment is defined, we will be able to provide an estimate of what it will cost. The final cost depends on several factors, including the initial condition of the item, the amount of work required to meet expectations, and the cost of supplies, materials, and hardware. While our goal is to create furniture pieces that are both beautiful and functional, please be aware that this may not be the most economical option available. It involves significant labor, and the only way to reduce labor costs is to undertake the work yourself.

The overall schedule for your piece will depend on what the particular piece needs, what else we already have in process or in the queue, and our own personal commitments. We can estimate pretty close and let you know ahead and during the process what you can expect.

More than likely it can. Let’s discuss it.
